Custom Bird and Trout, padauk wood


From my shop in the mountains of North Idaho. A slimmer blade for bird and trout and certain hunting tasks.

  • Crafted from 1/8th inch thick lumber mill circular saw steel (8670), similar to L6 tool steel.
  • Handle is stabilized African padauk wood with black liners and peened copper pins. Burnt orange/red color is the natural color of this brightly colored wood.
  • Over all length is just over 8 inches, cutting edge is  3.5 inches.
  • Horizontal carry leather sheath is custom for the knife.  Worn on the left front for right hand draw. Concealable under a long shirt.
