Recently completed, recycled from Idaho lumber mill saw steel (carbon tool steel 8670) it is reground, oil heat treated and tempered. The handle is from an older elk antler drop that has some chew marks on it thanks to some critter in the woods, call it character... copper fittings with maple burl spacer.
Over all length is 8 inches, cutting edge 3- 5/8ths. Rockwell hardness is 59-60
