From my shop in the mountains of North Idaho this piece is crafted from Idaho lumber mill saw steel. 8670 tool steel holds a great edge and is easy to sharpen with the sharpening strop provided. See my Sharpening page.
Handle is stabilized spalted fiddleback maple with copper finger guard and raised pins.
Over all length is 8.75 inches, 4 inch blade.
8-9 oz. weight leather sheath is hand carved and tooled by son. Wet molded to hold the knife secure, it ” pops” into the sheath.
