6.5 inch Camp/chef knife, figured walnut

Completely handmade from 1/8 inch thick circular saw steel (8670 tool steel), recycled from defunct North Idaho lumber mill. The steel is very similar to our mothers dark colored kitchen knives that cut so well.

• A pleasure to use. As a past restaurant owner, I know how important it is to have a tool that makes daily chores easier. A fine convex edge, great for slicing and dicing vegetables and meat.
• Previous customers say this knife becomes their favorite most used knife in the kitchen. You can spend less on a Henckels or Wusthof but this knife will feel better in your hand and be much easier to keep sharp. A couple passes on the strop every week or two, takes about 10 seconds to keep it hair shaving sharp. See my sharpening instructions on the "Knife Care" page.    The sharpening strop comes with the knife.
• The handle is beautifully figured stabilized walnut with red liners and copper pins.
• Custom tooled  leather sheath with copper tacks.
• Over all length 11.5 inches. Blade is 2-5/16 inches wide. Cutting edge is a little over 6.5 inches
• My touchmark is on the blade.
