From my shop in the mountains of North Idaho, an old western fighter recycled from older lumber mill saw steel 3/16th thick, reground, oil heat treated, tempered and etched. Tough steel with a razor edge.

The sheath is deer rawhide over leather with a pigskin wrap and linen thread
Over all length is 13.25 inches, blade is 8 inches, tapered tang, unsharpened top edge
