A nice medium sized cleaver recycled circular saw (8670 tool steel) from a local Idaho wood mill, just under 3/16th thick (.165) , reground, oil heat treated, tempered . Blade is flat ground with a convex edge, steel hardness 59-60 Rc
Over all length is 11.75 inches with a cutting edge of 6.25 inches. Weighs 1 lb. 2.5oz.
Handle is stabilized maple burl with orange liners and copper pins
