Custom spay point Camp knife, figured walnut

I recycled this steel from a old lumber mill in southern Oregon 40 + years old,  3/16th thick lumber mill circular saw steel (8670), similar to L6 carbon tool steel. Reground, oil heat treated and tempered and acid etched. Feels right in the hand.

• A versatile blade good for everyday chores, heavy enough for battoning.
• Handle is stabilized figured walnut with raised/peened copper pins.
• Over all length is 10.25 inches,  cutting edge is 5.25 inches.
• Custom hand tooled, 10-12oz. heavy leather sheath.
