Handmade from 1/8th thick industrial circular saw steel, recycled from a now defunct North Idaho lumber mill. Etched tool steel (8670, similar to L6 ) is oil heat treated and tempered making a razor sharp edge that is easy to resharpen with the strop provided. Very similar to the blade I have carried for years. Enough belly for skinning and enough point to use for fish. Finger groove to choke up on allows for a bigger blade in a smaller package.
Handle is stabilized figured walnut copper fittings and rams horn spacer and black liners.
Over all length is 8 inches, 3.75 inch cutting edge.
Horizontal carry leather sheath 9-10 oz. weight. I wet form it to conform to the knife for a snug fit, stays put when walking around in the wooods. Worn on the left front for right hand draw, concealable under a long shirt.
