Eagle knife, carved antler

From my shop in the mountains of North Idaho, a collaboration with nationally recognized wildlife artist Paul Carrico. On hiatus for awhile Paul is back in the shop, sharpened his carving tools and doing again what he does best. Original antler carving, not a cast resin. His creation absolutely looks like the real thing. Attention to minute details sets it apart. This is our 1st combined effort with more pieces to come - like mountain men, grizzly, wolf and who knows what else !

• Over all length is 10.75 inches, cutting edge is a bit over 5.25 inches.
• Handle is shed deer antler with cocobolo wood and copper fittings
• Steel is recycled from old lumber mill circular saw steel 3/16th inch thick, blade is special etched and is razor sharp, easy to sharpen carbon tool steel (8670)
• Sheath is hand tooled and wet molded for a snug fit
• One of a kind
