Fancy Drop Point hunter, box elder

From my shop in the mountains of North Idaho: Crafted from recycled 1/8 inch thick circular saw steel from a Idaho wood mill. Reground, oil heat treated and tempered  makes for a nice looking hunting or utility blade. A naturally colorful piece of  box elder. Handle is stabilized figured box elder, reconstituted blood red jasper with black liners and copper fittings.

• Over all length is 8.5 inches.  Cuttting edge is 3.5 inches.
• A little file work is done on the spine.
• Custom fit, hand sewn and tooled heavy leather horizontal sheath, Concealable under a long shirt.
• Convex ground edge is easy to sharpen with the strop provided.   See the "Knife Care" page.
