  • Inspired from the book "KNIVES OF HOMESPUN AMERICA" by Madison Grant, (Page 29) this piece is made from scratch and is  correct in size and shape, except, instead of a wrought iron blade I used 3/16th old circular saw steel. The same steel I use in my large camp knives. Excellant edge holding if ever you would want to use it.
  • Length is 13 in. overall, blade is 8.25 in.
  • The guard/quillion is one piece, forged mild steel. Handle is white oak burl fastened by raised brass pins which are peened.
  • Heavy leather sheath is 2 pieces, handsewn with faux sinew and decorated with brass tacks. Made to be worn on the left hip for right hand draw.
