From my shop in the snow covered mountains of North Idaho. Another original piece by Master carver Paul Carrico, nationally known for his true to life wildlife carvings. No cast or resin here, this is the real thing, carved from a large whitetail antler, the burr end is a bearded mountain man with a badger skin hat and feather. Midway on the handle is a grizzly claw. The knife I forged from a large circular saw from an Idaho lumber mill, rosewood spacer next to the copper guard. The sheath is pigskin over leather with copper tacks and trade beads and a copper cone.
  • Over all length is 13 inches, cutting edge just over 7 inches, blade is  8670 carbon tool steel
