On my trade blanket.      A  mountain man camp knife from heavy old lumber mill saw steel, forged hot thru the copper guard, sealed with pitch glue, the tang is set into a nice deer antler with lots of character, especially on the butt end, the wolf carving by Master Carver Paul Carrico. Not a resin, it is all the original antler.  One of kind piece.
  • Over all length is 11 inches, razor sharp cutting edge is 5 inches.
  • Handle is deer antler with a steer horn spacer and brass brads.
  • Knife is held very secure in the deer rawhide over leather sheath. Over wrap is pigskin ( mountain peaks burned in ). Brain tanned fringe and trade beads add to the package. Wolf claw on the sheath is genuine.
  • Sharpening strop is included.
